Known for his heavy, somber, and often dark cinematic themes in films like "Black Swan" and "The Wrestler," director Darren Aronofsky is set to deliver a rare foray into crime comedy this summer with "Caught Stealing." The film's highly anticipated first trailer dropped tonight.
This feature is an adaptation of Charlie Huston's 2004 novel of the same name, which later expanded into a trilogy. Huston himself penned the screenplay. Set in 1990s New York City, the story follows Hank Thompson, a former professional baseball player who finds himself unwillingly drawn into a brutal battle for survival within the city's criminal underworld.

The star-studded cast includes Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, Griffin Dunne, Regina King, Austin Butler, Vincent D'Onofrio, Zoë Kravitz, and rappers Bad Bunny and Action Bronson. "Caught Stealing" is scheduled to hit North American theaters on August 29.
