FIGURAMA COLLECTORS, a company renowned for crafting exquisite statues based on Japanese anime, manga, and video games, recently officially unveiled the latest product in their Elite FigumiZ series from "Dorohedoro": the "Shin & Noi" 1/8 scale diorama statue! Shipping is expected to commence in Q3-Q4 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$450, limited to 600 units.
"Dorohedoro" (ドロヘドロ), a manga series by Japanese artist Q Hayashida, is set in two coexisting worlds: "The Hole," inhabited by ordinary people, and the world of sorcerers, creatures created by the devil Chidaruma. Sorcerers, aspiring to become devils, often use humans as subjects for practicing their magic. The protagonist, Caiman (カイマン), is one such victim of magic, whose head was transformed into that of a lizard and who lost his memories. To regain his human face and forgotten memories, he embarks on a sorcerer hunt with his companion Nikaido (ニカイドウ).
The duo featured in this statue, Shin and Noi, are assassins under the "Smoke Family," the largest family in the sorcerer world. Shin (しん) is a half-human, half-sorcerer hybrid with the ability to tear enemies apart, but he is even more adept with a hammer. Noi (のい) is En's cousin, a battle-maniac and training-maniac who particularly enjoys fighting strong opponents! She also possesses an almost unfair healing ability. The two share deep trust and are the best of partners.
This piece stands nearly 40 cm tall, capturing Shin and Noi in a dynamic action scene as they strike in The Hole. Both figures, splattered with blood, wear excited smiles. In addition to the realistic sculpting of their combat poses and meticulous detailing of their attire, the overall chaotic atmosphere conveyed by the diorama is excellent, as if one has truly arrived in the perpetually dilapidated and old Hole. The gate connecting the two worlds, the abundance of pipes, and En's mushrooms all evoke the rich "Dorohedoro" worldview. What's even more awesome is that Shin and Noi each come with an interchangeable masked head sculpt, further enhancing their versatility.
