The action figure brand "MAFEX" from renowned Japanese toy company MEDICOM TOY recently announced its latest product, "Chucky," from the 1998 horror-comedy film "Bride of Chucky"! It is scheduled for release in January 2026, with a suggested retail price of 14,080 JPY (tax included).
In the first film of the Chucky series, "Child's Play" (1988), the psychopathic serial killer Charles Lee Ray, nicknamed Chucky, hid in a toy store. Before being cornered and killed by the police, he used a voodoo spell to transfer his evil soul into a popular "Good Guys" toy doll. Thus, a seemingly cute and harmless, yet terrifying, murderous toy was eerily born.
In the fourth installment of the series, "Bride of Chucky," Chucky gains a companion: his former girlfriend, Tiffany. Initially, Tiffany attempted to use voodoo to awaken Ray's soul within the Chucky doll. However, after Chucky's soul successfully returned, a fierce conflict erupted between them, culminating in Chucky electrocuting Tiffany while she was in the bath. Incredibly, Chucky even used a voodoo spell to transfer Tiffany's soul into a bride doll. To regain human form, the killer doll Chucky and his bride embarked on a series of terrifying murder plots.

This figure stands approximately 13 cm tall, and perfectly recreates Chucky's rough, haphazardly stitched body from "Bride of Chucky." The scarred head, deep lacerations, torn scalp, and disheveled hair are incredibly vivid, truly the kind that would genuinely scare you if you saw it at home. The overalls are also made of fabric and feature recreated distressed detailing. What's fantastic is that it includes three interchangeable head sculpts, each with articulated eyes, allowing you to recreate Chucky's wide range of eerie expressions! Accessories include a shovel, hammer, knife, game console, and the essential item for regaining human form in the film: the amulet "Heart of Damballa" (ダンバラの心臓).
