Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles Corporation has announced the latest product from the "DXROBO UNIVERSE" series, a transforming and combining robot toy based on Toei's Tokusatsu series "Super Sentai," the "Shinken-Oh" from "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger," scheduled for release on July 5, 2025.
Shinken-Oh is a samurai giant formed when the five Shinkengers inject "Mojikara" (power of characters) into the Lion, Dragon, Turtle, Bear, and Ape Origami, causing them to giantize and combine. It can utilize the "Daishinkenger" (Great Shinken Sword), "Hiden Shield," and the Mojikara of each Origami for agile close-quarters combat, defeating Gedoushu who have giantized using their second life.
"DXROBO UNIVERSE Shinken-Oh" continues the design style of this series, adopting the common standard "Core Frame System" to unify the size of toys within the same series. It also features an original transforming and combining mechanism that allows for part swapping. The product includes five Origami: Lion, Dragon, Turtle, Bear, and Ape, allowing for display of each Origami in its separate state, or using the "Core Frame System" to combine into Shinken-Oh, standing approximately 26 cm tall, by swapping parts.
In addition to playing with the included weapon "Daishinkenger," it can also perform fantastic cross-series original combinations with other Sentai robots from the "DXROBO UNIVERSE" series, allowing for free customization with the same frame and joint design. It can even link with the morpher and robot from "First Sentai Goujyuuger," the "DX Tiger Sword," by swapping out the Turtle Origami, Bear Origami, and Daishinkenger on its arms.
