From Japan's Bandai Toy Company's Gashapon brand, the 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series, known for its shared connection points and infinite customization options for Mobile Suits from "Mobile Suit Gundam," has officially announced its latest product from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam": the "EX53 God Gundam Hyper Mode," slated for release in August 2025.
The GF13-017NJII God Gundam is the latest cutting-edge Mobile Fighter developed solely by Dr. Mikamura. As the successor machine to protagonist Domon Kasshu, many of its performance capabilities and armament features are similar to its predecessor, the Shining Gundam. It is equipped with an "Energy Multiplier System" that converts Domon's ki into energy, significantly boosting overall performance when "Hyper Mode" is activated. The six radiator fins on its back form a halo of light, granting the unit a magnetic coating and allowing it to unleash the incredibly passionate ultimate attack, the "Burning God Finger."
The "EX53 God Gundam Hyper Mode" is a modification of the previously released EX43 version, with the main body sculpt utilizing the same mold. At an SD scale height of 6.5 cm, the cool head and intricate exterior armor details of the God Gundam are meticulously rendered. However, the entire model features a new golden paint application and golden molded parts to recreate the radiant, golden glow of its body when "Hyper Mode" is activated.
Accessories include all contents from the "EX43 God Gundam" except for the Core Lander cockpit, the halo effect parts from the "God Gundam Accessory Set," and skirt armor replacement parts, all similarly updated to the Hyper Mode's golden hue. Furthermore, it adds the ability to recreate dynamic poses for moves like "God Slash" and "Burning God Finger" through a rich array of interchangeable parts and weapons combined with flexible articulated joints!
