Renowned sofubi artist KAGEMARU DESIGNS (カゲマルデザイン) is celebrated for his distinctive style that masterfully blends humor with dark visuals, creating pieces that are simultaneously trendy and subtly unsettling. His work is characterized by bold, deformed designs, intricate details within a rugged aesthetic, and brilliant colors that breathe new life into characters. For the GVA series, KAGEMARU DESIGNS revisits the iconic Burning Godzilla from "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," infusing the kaiju with his signature dark fantasy spirit.
Standing approximately 17 cm tall, this sofubi figure showcases KAGEMARU DESIGNS' unique take on Burning Godzilla, featuring an exaggerated, wide-open maw. Despite its adorable proportions, the figure meticulously captures the sharp teeth and detailed tongue within its mouth. The rugged texture, combined with vivid color applications, makes this already striking design even more captivating. Whether in the classic Burning Godzilla hues or the special fluorescent pink, the figure elevates the charm of the iconic kaiju, offering a unique aesthetic that is both humorous and visually thrilling.
