Bandai Namco Toys' Gashapon toy brand GASHAPON, which produces the "Mobile Suit Gundam" themed gashapon series 'CAPSULE ACTION', has announced the latest product from the 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, "CAPSULE ACTION ~Hatsune Miku color Ver.~", scheduled for release in September 2025.
The 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, announced in October 2024, will successively launch a large number of model toys and merchandise in 2025, featuring collaborations between the Gundam IP and Hatsune Miku. It will also collaborate with Bandai Namco's "Taiko no Tatsujin" and "Gundam EXVS. Series". Furthermore, the official announcement today revealed the collaboration song "Idol Senshi / アイドル戦士 (feat. Hatsune Miku)", which remixes classic theme songs from various past "Gundam" series and incorporates numerous Gundam references.
The Hatsune Miku colored mobile suits, specially designed for this collaboration project, are now being released in the 'CAPSULE ACTION' series. These gashapon toys feature highly articulated mobile suits, standing approximately 9 cm tall. The overall design boasts more layered, high-density details compared to the original settings, with paintwork reproducing various colors and printed body markings for a more refined texture. With up to 38 points of articulation, including the neck, waist, and limbs, they can be posed with the included weaponry.

"CAPSULE ACTION ~Hatsune Miku color Ver.~" is based on modifications of previously released "RX-78-2 Gundam" and "MS-06S Char's Custom Zaku". They utilize new colors and molded part colors to reproduce the "Hatsune Miku Color" scheme, composed of black, gray, green, and fluorescent pink, as well as the "Hatsune Miku Clear Color" scheme, which uses clear green molded parts. There are a total of two Gundam types and two Zaku types available.

The "Hatsune Miku Color" Gundam and Zaku only include basic armaments such as interchangeable open-hand parts, beam rifle, shield, and Zaku machine gun. The "Hatsune Miku Clear Color" versions, in addition to the aforementioned armaments, further include a beam naginata, hyper bazooka, beam saber, Zaku bazooka, and heat hawk, among other abundant weapon accessories.
