Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced the latest product from its affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE', featuring 'Rice Shower L size' from 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby', slated for release in December 2025.
The highly popular Uma Musume Rice Shower is based on the real-life racehorse of the same name, known as the 'Black Assassin' in 1990s Japan. Despite her small stature, she excelled in long-distance races of 3000 meters or more. In the story, through diligent and rigorous training, she successfully halted Mihono Bourbon's Triple Crown bid and Mejiro McQueen's three consecutive victories in the Tenno Sho (Spring). However, she was branded a villain by their supporters. In reality, Rice Shower suffered a tragic fall and fracture, leading to immediate euthanasia. Yet, 'Uma Musume' offers Rice Shower a different future, where she brilliantly claims victory in the Tenno Sho (Spring), reversing her villainous reputation and earning the cheers and blessings of the audience.
The 'POP UP PARADE Rice Shower L size' is produced in a larger-than-standard 22 cm height. It meticulously sculpts Rice Shower's dynamic hair, her cute yet elegant jet-black racing uniform, and the characteristic dagger at her waist. Rich color applications bring out details like the blue rose hair ornament, the black lace trim of her outfit, multiple metal buckles, and the sword hilt. Her pose, reflecting her introverted personality, and her glistening large eyes further convey Rice Shower's endearing and delicate image.
Furthermore, customers who order this product from the 'Good Smile Company Online Shop' or 'CyStore' will receive an exclusive bonus 'Blue Rose Bouquet' interchangeable part, allowing you to recreate Rice Shower holding a blue rose bouquet.
