FLAME TOYS "TETSUKIKAKU BIG-O" Die-Cast Action Figure Under Development!

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the robot anime 《THE Big O (魅影巨神)》, Hong Kong model manufacturer FLAME TOYS' robot-themed die-cast action figure series "TETSUKIKAKU" has announced that the protagonist's machine, "BIG-O", is currently under development. The release date is yet to be determined.

Big-O is the colossal robot piloted by protagonist Roger Smith in the Sunrise-produced robot anime 《THE Big O》. It features jet-black, hardened armor, and its waist is equipped with multiple rocket anchors to aid in agile and rapid movement. Its distinctive massive twin arms suggest it is a ground combat unit specialized in close-quarters attacks, yet its 30-meter tall body also conceals a plethora of cannons and beam weapons, allowing Roger to utilize a variety of high-firepower armaments with his extensive combat experience.

Currently, "TETSUKIKAKU BIG-O" has only revealed a silhouette of its prototype under development. The overall outline largely recreates the relatively slender torso and extremely massive twin arm design from the original settings. We can anticipate whether it will be able to reproduce the telescopic mechanism of its arm weapon "Strike Piles" and the deployment gimmicks of the numerous cannons hidden throughout its body.
