Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro, known for "The Shape of Water," has written and directed a new adaptation of "Frankenstein." The first trailer for the highly anticipated Netflix film was released today during the streamer's TUDUM promotional event. Del Toro has described this project as his most personal work, distinguishing it from previous adaptations by focusing on a father-son relationship rather than emphasizing a horror atmosphere. The film is slated for a November release, with an exact date yet to be announced.
