BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, is launching a new sub-series for their "Figuarts ZERO" character figures, "Touche Metallique." The latest product, "Figuarts ZERO Touche Metallique Guts (Berserker Armor)," will be based on "Berserk"! The suggested retail price is 22,000 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2026.
In "Berserk," when the protagonist Guts battles the "Flame Dragon" Grunbeld, he dons the cursed armor "Berserker Armor," forged by the Dwarves (ドワーフ). This armor intensely amplifies the dormant hatred and resentment deep within him. The surging, exhilarating rage numbs his pain, replaced by a ferocious, powerful impulse, allowing Guts to fight wildly with strength that transcends human limits! He effortlessly knocks away the Flame Dragon and instantly shatters shields that even cannonballs couldn't penetrate.
The "Figuarts ZERO Touche Metallique Guts (Berserker Armor)" features a mixed coating of electroplating and standard paint to create a magnificent metallic feel, and its dynamic presence is recreated with outstanding sculpting techniques. Standing approximately 35 cm tall, it faithfully reproduces his beast-like wild appearance, with the armor exhibiting a sharp and robust texture. The metallic red eyes convey a sense of pain and ferocity, as he raises his massive "Dragon Slayer" sword --- masterfully conveying the impressive "Sea God Battle" scene from the series, as interpreted by sculptor Ryu Oyama!
