Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s new combining robot toy series "UNITROBORN (ユニトロボーン)" will launch a collaboration with the conveyor belt sushi chain "Sushiro," releasing the latest product, the "UNITROBO Shrimp Sushi Police Car" combining robot! The suggested retail price is 3,630 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2025.
UNITROBORN is a brand new original toy series that inherits the lineage of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who came to Earth from space. To protect Earth's peace, they can use their singing voices to instantly combine any objects of the same color around them into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... various imaginative combinations can form powerful robots to defeat mysterious enemies causing chaos.
The "UNITROBO Shrimp Sushi Police Car" combining robot, following the "Tuna Sushi Fire Truck," is once again launching, this time combining Sushiro's popular shrimp sushi with a police car! The series particularly emphasizes retaining the original form of the objects before combination. The texture and tail of the shrimp, as well as the grains of sushi rice and Sushiro's plate, are all meticulously sculpted. It features a clever transformation and combination mechanism; simply align the combination joint, and it will naturally spring open and transform. The shrimp expands to the left and right, revealing the robot's head, combining with the police car to form a robot approximately 18 cm tall! The sushi plate becomes the robot's apron structure, and it also has weapons in its hands.
