Yo-Yi Creative, a Taiwanese curatorial company skilled at blending ACG and art, has teamed up with its designer toy and exhibition space sub-brand, ShoShoBoom. Having secured the license from Japan's Tsuburaya Productions, they are reinterpreting the classic "Ultraman" characters "Alien Baltan" and "Ultraman Belial" in a brand-new style! These figures will make their debut at the 5th annual [Toy Taste] exhibition in mid-June 2025. The prototypes for these Alien Baltan and Ultraman Belial figures were sculpted by Taiwanese toy designer "Yihsu Artifice." In addition to utilizing his signature top-heavy, narrow-bottomed body proportions, the distinctive features of both characters have been enhanced. This includes the Space Ninja's classic head, the carapace texture on its torso, and its striking giant pincers, as well as the fallen evil warrior's ferocious head, eyes, and the sharp claws on his hands. Among the many Ultraman collectibles you may own, we believe these two figures will stand out with their unique physique and distinct charm.
Alien Baltan (バルタン星人) first appeared back in 1966 in the second episode of "Ultraman," titled "Shoot the Invader" (侵略者を撃て). After their home planet was destroyed, the Baltans wandered through space as refugees. They initially came to Earth merely to repair their spaceship, but upon discovering how habitable our planet was, they decided to launch an invasion. Alien Baltan has a cicada-like head and crab-like pincers for hands. It possesses a wide array of abilities, such as creating illusions of itself, teleportation, and size-shifting, earning it the nickname "Space Ninja."

However, in his quest for greater power, he broke a taboo by attempting to seize the energy core of the Land of Light's "Plasma Spark Tower" for himself, which led to his exile.
Later, Belial's body was possessed by the spirit of the Ultimate Life Form, Alien Raybrad. This not only drastically altered his body and personality but also elevated his power to a whole new level. He transformed into the most ferocious evil Ultraman and sought revenge on the Land of Light. In the story of "Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie," Belial single-handedly pushed the Land of Light to the brink of destruction—a truly formidable foe!!!
