BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division of Japan has announced the latest collaborative product, "ARQUEBUS ADD VE-40A," from its original model kit series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS," known for its easy assembly and customizable features. This new item, a collaboration with "Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon," is scheduled for release in December 2025.
"Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon" is the latest installment in the "Armored Core" series, developed by FromSoftware, and released after a decade-long hiatus. The story is set on the remote planet "Rubicon 3," where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Coral." Initially believed to be a new energy source capable of significantly advancing technology, it instead brought about a catastrophic disaster that engulfed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying "Coral" has become a target of contention for extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again assume the role of "Raven," a mercenary piloting a robot, to infiltrate Rubicon and delve deeper into the heart of this storm of conflict.
The productized "ARQUEBUS ADD VE-40A" is a specification equipped with the "VE-42B" leg units, known by players as a "hover tank," boasting extremely powerful aerial maneuverability and the highest "Assault Boost" speed in the entire game. Utilizing the 30MM series' characteristic easy assembly and customizable features, this model kit meticulously reproduces the VE-40A, VE-42B, and other "ARQUEBUS ADD" series components with precise sculpting, detailing the voluminous leg units with intricate armor lines. The weapon included is a "VE-66LRB" laser rifle.
