World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has announced a new limited-edition product based on the movie "Deadpool & Wolverine" — the "Age of Apocalypse Wolverine (Artisan Edition)" 1/6th scale collectible figure. With a suggested retail price of HKD 1,500, it is limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide and is expected to be released in the second to third quarter of 2026!
The Age of Apocalypse Wolverine, who made a cameo appearance in the movie when Deadpool traveled through timelines searching for Wolverine variants, first appeared in the "X-Men: Age of Apocalypse" storyline, developed in the X-Men comic series in 1995. This storyline tells the story of Earth-295, where Legion traveled back in time and accidentally killed Professor X, leading to a dark future where Apocalypse controls all of North America. In the story, according to Cyclops's description, Weapon X and Cyclops had a disagreement over how to deal with Apocalypse. After a fierce fight, Weapon X lost his left hand to Cyclops's optic blast, which was then covered by a metal sheath.
This Hot Toys Exclusive Age of Apocalypse Wolverine (Artisan Edition) stands approximately 30 cm tall, with a sculpted head that faithfully recreates Hugh Jackman's facial features. The deep-set eyeballs feature a rolling mechanism for subtle adjustments to his expression, and meticulously detailed beard and skin textures. The Artisan Edition features his iconic dark brown medium-length hair meticulously hand-implanted strand by strand using wool material, significantly enhancing its realism!
The arms are crafted using seamless silicone-covered technology, showcasing powerful muscle lines and bulging veins that convey captivating realism and intensity. His black and red bodysuit is faithfully recreated with tailored leather-like fabric. The most distinctive feature of this look, the metal-sheathed arm, is also meticulously reproduced! Accessories include interchangeable hands and interchangeable claw accessories, allowing collectors to pose him with the previously released "Deadpool" to recreate classic scenes from the movie!
