Story
Humans live in a three-dimensional world, and just as a coin has two sides, no one knows of the existence of a mechanical dimension. However, in the mechanical dimension, an unbelievable phenomenon occurred. After the mechanical dimension was distorted and separated, a part of it was ejected into the three-dimensional world; and the ruler of this mechanical world is the evil King Bakuda. He attempts to use various machines or animals to control Earth and endanger humanity; if their destructive actions cannot be stopped, it will cause a catastrophe.
Gold Lightan is the brave warrior specifically tasked with confronting King Bakuda and protecting Earth's safety, so it hopes Hiroshi (Xiaolong) can assist. This secret is known only to Hiroshi, which often leads to various humorous situations among teachers and classmates. His efforts were not in vain, preventing Bakuda's schemes from succeeding, and through various stories, conveying the message that love must be shown to humans, animals, and even inanimate objects, and that nothing should be arbitrarily destroyed, only then will society become more harmonious and peaceful.
Gold Lightan (ゴールドライタン)
Transforms from a rectangular golden lighter. It is the leader of the warrior corps; to Xiaolong, it is like an elder brother. Normally, its size is only palm-sized, but after passing through the Rainbow Road (レインボーロード) in the alternate dimension, it immediately transforms into an immense robot 30 meters tall and weighing 200 tons. Its special move is Gold Crash (ゴールドクラッシュ)!
What I bought is a childhood memory!
When I was a child, I often imitated Gold Lightan, using the Gold Crash on my classmates... Now, I can finally own my own Gold Lightan, just like Xiaolong!
Shohoriku has done its best to restore Gold Lightan's lighter form and robot mode. I believe the creators prioritized the lighter! Although it's a model, you only need about 15 minutes to complete the assembly, and the process is not complicated.
The main body's gold color is very striking, but generally, any plated product is prone to imperfections, and I believe this one is no exception. The articulation, for a transforming figure, is as good as it gets. The transformation process is simple, and you can find many clever and painstaking small mechanisms that ensure Gold Lightan's limbs are extended to their maximum proportion and length. And the lighter form... this time, it truly is a lighter, almost perfect!
Finally, and most impressively, the price for this level of quality is only HKD 199. Look at my score for price; it's basically an incredible value. Even if you didn't pre-order, the general retail price is only $238! So, for friends who love Gold Lightan or high-end toys, you won't mind spending these HKD 200, right?
