Last month, the HBO series "Harry Potter" reportedly announced its three new leads: Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger. Today, the cast continues to expand with more key roles filled.
The latest announcement includes Bel Powley, who rose to prominence in films like "The Diary of a Teenage Girl," set to play the new Aunt Petunia Dursley. Daniel Rigby will portray the new Uncle Vernon Dursley.

Other actors and their respective roles announced today include: Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Padma Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, and Bertie Carvel as the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge.

Previously confirmed cast members include Luke Thallon as Professor Quirinus Quirrell, Paul Whitehouse as the caretaker Argus Filch, Nick Frost as the gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid, Paapa Essiedu as Professor Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Professor Minerva McGonagall, and John Lithgow as Headmaster Albus Dumbledore.
The "Harry Potter" series is helmed by showrunner Francesca Gardiner, a co-writer on "His Dark Materials." Mark Mylod, director of "The Menu," is also on board to direct. McTeer was also part of "The Menu" cast. The show plans to adapt one book per season for a total of seven seasons, with the first season slated to premiere next year.
