BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan, under the "REAL ROBOT REVOLUTION (R3)" plastic model kit series featuring robot anime from Bandai Namco Filmworks (Sunrise), has announced the latest product from the anime "Aura Battler Dunbine", the "Billbine 1/35 Scale Plastic Model Kit", slated for release in August 2025.
The Billbine is a cutting-edge transformable Aura Battler developed by the technical team of Na's Country, based on the Dunbine, and bestowed upon Sho Zama for piloting by Queen Sheila. This unit features a transformation mechanism into a highly mobile Aura Flyer, and is equipped with high-firepower armaments such as two Aura Cannons and an Aura Sword Rifle, allowing it to adapt to various combat ranges. However, its Aura Coefficient is only 0.99, meaning only an Aura Battler with powerful Aura power like Sho can truly master its top-tier performance.
After a 17-year hiatus, the new "R3 1/35 Billbine", featuring completely new parts, boasts a large size with an overall height of approximately 25 cm. Its overall design largely recreates the smooth and refined curved armor from the original settings. It utilizes a rich array of molded color parts such as red, white, dark blue, and gold to reproduce the colors seen in the series, while the wings on its back are rendered with clear parts, faithfully recreating the wing vein patterns.
Armament accessories include an Aura Sword and an Aura Rifle that can transform to reproduce its beam sword form. The two Aura Cannons mounted on its back feature multi-axis articulation. Through its transformation mechanism and by replacing some parts, it can reproduce its transformed "Aura Flyer" form, while also recreating the cockpit hatch deployment mechanism and the internal cockpit design.
