American toy manufacturer NECA recently unveiled several 2025 comic convention exclusive items. Among them, one product that this editor personally considers a stroke of genius is the "Surf's Up Chucky" (tentative translation) action figure, which we'll be looking at in this article!

In the first installment of the Chucky series, "Child's Play" (1988), the psychopathic serial killer "Charles Lee Ray," nicknamed Chucky, hid in a toy store. Before being cornered and killed by the police, he used a voodoo spell to transfer his evil soul into a popular toy doll called "Good Guys." Thus, a terrifying toy that appeared cute and harmless but was actually a murderous maniac was eerily born.
This product is based on unused concept posters from the third installment of the classic American slasher film "Child's Play," titled "Child's Play 3." The specifications are the same as the Chucky figures in NECA's Ultimates series, but he is dressed in the classic Good Guys rainbow-striped rash guard and blue beach shorts. Even his buoyant armbands are printed with the Good Guys logo. Other accessories include a surfboard, sunglasses, sunscreen, a fabric towel, an alternate head sculpt, alternate hands, and he even comes with a wave! This is absolutely brilliant!
