The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the commercialization of the monster character "Rekines" from the upcoming latest installment of the Ultraman series, "Ultraman Omega". Further details are expected to be revealed at a later date.
Rekines is the first Meteor Monster acquired by Hoshimi Kosei, Ultraman Omega's human partner. It possesses a remarkably cute and affectionate personality, enjoying sticking close to Kosei. In battle, it can unleash powerful psychokinetic abilities, levitating and launching rocks.
Currently, sample images of "S.H.Figuarts Rekines" have been preemptively released. The sculpt faithfully recreates the characteristic wave-like patterns on its body surface and the high-density spines covering its entire form, as seen in the in-show costume. Its limbs and tail feature articulated divisions designed to maintain the integrity of its sculpt. Its overall size is similar in proportion to the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Omega", allowing them to be displayed together to recreate scenes of their joint battles.
