During a live stream on the official Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel, renowned American toy brand Hasbro unveiled several new Star Wars-themed products set to be exclusively released at the annual San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC), taking place from July 24th to 27th, 2025. This article will bring toy enthusiasts a look at the sensational "Anakin Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi" 6-inch action figure set!
The "Anakin Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi" 6-inch action figure set has a suggested retail price of US$109.99. Released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith," this set recreates the classic duel between master and apprentice on Mustafar! During the live stream, the host highlighted that the action figures feature newly developed soft plastic material for the robes, significantly reducing restrictions on the butterfly shoulder joints and hip joints. Additionally, new lateral swivel joints have been added to the boots, allowing for a wider range of dynamic poses!
For accessories, new open-hand replacement parts are included to recreate their Force-wielding poses. For the first time, three types of dynamic blur lightsaber effects are included for each character, allowing for versatile representation of lightsaber movement as desired! Furthermore, a lightsaber clash effect is provided, adding even more visual impact to their confrontation!
A major highlight of this set is undoubtedly the Mustafar diorama accessories! Made from plastic with weathered paint applications, they faithfully recreate the floating platform Obi-Wan stands on and the droid Anakin stands on during their duel. The base also features a substantial amount of translucent flame effects, perfectly capturing the fiery atmosphere of the confrontation!
The host also emphasized that the head sculpt for Anakin in his Darth Vader-esque appearance is the most accurate version the brand has ever produced, meticulously capturing the facial features of actor Hayden Christensen even at the 6-inch scale!
The packaging features a glossy print of the Anakin and Obi-Wan duel scene. Sliding open the outer sleeve reveals an inner package with a window design, and inside the box, a Mustafar lava scene is printed, exuding powerful presence even before unboxing!
