PLAMAX "Godz Order Overlord Gabriel Standard Ver. / DX Plated Ver." Luxuriously Colored to Recreate the Solemn and Sacred Golden Overlord!

From Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's assembly model brand "PLAMAX," in collaboration with renowned illustrator AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda), the brand new bishoujo assembly model series "Godz Order" has finally announced the release of its fifth installment after a year: "Overlord Gabriel Standard Ver." and "Overlord Gabriel DX Plated Ver.", slated for January 2026.

The "Godz Order" series features characters and a world setting personally drawn by AKIMAN (Akira Yasuda). The maiden figures, clad in statue-like steel wings and armor, are known as Silhouette Dolls. These are avatar humanoids that act as proxies for human life, and there also exist special hero figures capable of combating the gods, fighting to protect their homeland in a "world of swords and magic" built with the latest technology. The products are designed as assembly models, featuring articulated figures and a wealth of weaponry, recreating Akiman's magnificent designs with a rich variety of molded part colors, partially pre-painted parts, and decals.

The fifth character, "Overlord Gabriel," is the golden overlord of the cosmic city-state "Olympus," the enemy that created the Winged Knights, a majestic demon lord character akin to a god. The model utilizes a unique figure combining an articulated frame, transparent exterior, and golden armor to present an inorganic-like body. The space suit-inspired helmet, backpack, and controller feature intricate detailing and can be freely attached and detached. Accessories include three pre-painted expression parts that convey a lack of humanity: "Normal Face," "Motivated Face," and "Scornful Face," which are interchangeable.

The exterior parts meticulously recreate the magnificent armor design, blending divine statues and wings, through precision molded parts. The cross-shaped parts suspended outside the legs are depicted using transparent stands. The weaponry further includes a "sword," a "shield," and a colossal "scepter" measuring 30 cm in length. The scepter's tip features an intricate part separation to reproduce its characteristic celestial sphere design and internal gear structure. By replacing the main body's leg parts and attaching the exterior, the sacred and solemn battle stance can be recreated.

The difference between the "Standard Ver." and "DX Plated Ver." lies in the color representation of the golden parts. The "Standard Ver." uses only two different shades of gold plastic molding colors. In contrast, the "DX Plated Ver." employs a layered combination of two electroplated golds, one gold paint application, and two plastic molding colors, resulting in as many as 11 frames of plated and painted parts. However, its price is also nearly 50% higher than the standard version.
