Japanese figure manufacturer Claynel (クレーネル) recently announced their latest product from the popular naval battle mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Formidable Sweet Time Ver." (tentative translation, フォーミダブル スイートタイムVer.)! Shipping is scheduled to begin in March 2026, with a suggested retail price of 27,500 JPY (tax included).
In the world of "Azur Lane," Formidable is an SSR-class aircraft carrier belonging to the Royal Navy faction, voiced by Rie Kugimiya. Her default in-game illustration depicts a beautiful girl with twin tails, wearing a lace dress, and possessing the formidable bust size of the Illustrious-class. At first glance, Formidable might appear as an expressionless, reserved Royal lady; however, she loves rock music and cakes. When her affection level reaches "Love," she invites the Commander to share a very, very sweet cake, which is incredibly adorable. For Formidable, "fat dinosaur" is a forbidden word, even though no one has ever called her one.
This figure is not based on an in-game costume but is crafted from the "Sweet Time" still-life illustration. Standing at 19.7 cm tall, it captures Formidable in a completely defenseless pose, wearing pink and black sheer sleepwear and licking a lollipop. Her ethereal expression, exquisite red eyes, Formidable's signature long hair, and fair skin are all meticulously rendered. The barely-there sleepwear further accentuates Formidable's voluptuous curves of her bust and hips, conveying an extreme sense of volume! Coupled with the black bows positioned at her neck and cleavage, it's truly stunning! The soft fur on the base adds an extra layer of comfort to this figure, making it absolutely wonderful!
