The search for the seventh actor to portray Agent 007 in cinematic history continues, with no definitive decision made yet. However, a recent report by renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman on his Patreon indicates that Amazon and MGM are reportedly eyeing British actor Aaron Pierre (pictured left) as a potential candidate. Pierre has garnered significant attention in recent years for his role in "Rebel Ridge". Last year, he also received critical acclaim for voicing the young Mufasa in "Mufasa: The Lion King".

Before entering the Bond candidate pool, Pierre had already been cast by DC Studios to portray John Stewart, the Green Lantern, in the upcoming series "Lanterns". However, his commitment to "Lanterns" likely reduces his chances of also taking on the Bond role. It is uncommon for an actor to simultaneously embody two long-term, iconic characters with distinct public images. Hollywood casting directors and studio executives typically prefer an actor to be associated with only one major screen persona during a specific period of their career. Whether Pierre could genuinely balance both high-profile roles remains to be seen.
