Taiwanese toy brand Jinart, known for collaborating with designers and illustrators to create impressive works, today (19th) announced a blind box figure series based on "Courage the Cowardly Dog"! There are a total of six regular designs and one hidden (secret) version to collect. The suggested retail price is NT$200 per blind box, with an estimated shipping date of October 2025.
"Courage the Cowardly Dog," which first aired on Cartoon Network in 1999, is a horror animation infused with bizarre, absurd, and humorous elements. The protagonist is a pinkish-purple beagle named "Courage," who lives with the couple Muriel and Eustace in the middle-of-nowhere Nowhere Town. The gentle and kind Muriel dotes on Courage, but Eustace loves to torment him, always calling him "you stupid dog" and scaring him with a giant green mask. However, when terrifying supernatural phenomena occur, Courage always goes to great lengths to ensure their safety, even though he himself is scared to death.
This blind box series is sure to evoke fond childhood memories for all toy enthusiasts who grew up watching TV. There are six regular designs and one hidden version: "Courage with Swim Ring," "Baby Courage," "Lying Down Courage," "Scared Courage," "Eggplant Courage," and "Mask Courage" (which includes the mask as an accessory). Not only do they perfectly recreate Courage the Cowardly Dog's unique appearance, but the expressions of being startled, looking utterly helpless in an eggplant costume, and nervously biting his paw are all wonderfully captured. You'll truly want to collect the entire set!
