Following the massive announcement of "Deadpool/Batman" and "Batman/Deadpool"—the first major crossover between Marvel Comics and DC Comics in 22 years—the two publishers have revealed additional stories set to be included in this dream collaboration. Among them, filmmaker Kevin Smith is set to make his return to comics, writing a "Daredevil/Green Arrow" story.
While widely known as a director and a prominent figure in geek culture, Kevin Smith has also left a significant mark on the comics industry. He previously worked on "Daredevil" with Joe Quesada in 1998 and later crafted a highly acclaimed run on "Green Arrow" with Phil Hester in 2001. His return to pen a team-up story featuring both street-level heroes for this special crossover event is a truly classic reunion.
In addition to Kevin Smith's "Daredevil/Green Arrow," other stories included in the crossover comics will feature "Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto" from Kelly Thompson and Chip Zdarsky, as well as a "Captain America and Wonder Woman" story.
Each story will receive its own variant cover. The "Daredevil/Green Arrow" variant will be drawn by Marco Checchetto, while the "Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto" cover will be handled by Gurihiru. Furthermore, Greg Capullo will provide a wraparound cover for "Deadpool/Batman".
