The alloy action figure series "MORTAL MIND 鐵魄," released by Chinese toy brand CCSTOYS, has officially announced its latest product, "Ultimate Dancouga," from "Dancouga – Super Beast Machine God" and "Super Robot Wars 30," slated for release in September 2025.
In the classic robot anime "Dancouga – Super Beast Machine God," Dr. Hazuki secretly developed four super weapons, the "Beast Machines," to counter the invasion of an alien empire from another dimension, and recruited four young individuals, including Shinobu Fujiwara, from the officer academy to pilot them. The four Beast Machines are powerful weapons capable of three-stage transformation: normal mode, beast mode, and robot mode. They can further combine into the giant robot "Dancouga" to unleash maximum combat power, drawing immeasurable strength by sensing the pilots' spiritual energy.
Later, in the game "Super Robot Wars 30" released in 2021, a game-original form, "Ultimate Dancouga," was introduced. This form utilizes additional armor to protect exposed cockpits and adds large wings and thrusters, significantly enhancing attack, defense, combination time, and cruising range, while also reducing the burden on the pilots.
The "MORTAL MIND Ultimate Dancouga" foregoes the transformation and combination mechanisms of the individual Beast Machines, focusing instead on creating a powerful sculpt and articulation for the combined form. Standing approximately 26 cm tall, it features a robust physique, heavy armor design across the entire body, and high-density detailing on the armor surfaces. Components such as the wings, blades, and claws all boast sharp, intricate designs. The entire figure utilizes various glossy black and metallic paint applications to convey a sense of substantiality, and numerous alloy parts are used for the frame and armor, giving the model a satisfying heft when handled.
Its armaments include the Dankuken (Dancouga Sword) and the Dancouga Cannon mounted on its back. Furthermore, the wing parts can combine with the Dankuken to form the even larger "Dankuken True Sword." Coupled with its flexible articulated joint design, the red LED effect lights embedded throughout the body, and the interchangeable head part with a closed face mask, collectors can recreate powerful battle poses and special move activations.
