Aniplex Inc. (株式会社アニプレックス) of Japan has officially announced a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "Ryo Yamada" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY, scheduled for release in March 2026!
Ryo Yamada, the bassist of Kessoku Band, attends Shimokitazawa High School, just like Nijika, and is the second member that Hitori (Bocchi) gets to know in the band. Ryo has a cool and composed personality, often expressionless, and enjoys teasing others. She is often considered eccentric and frequently borrows money with various excuses without returning it. However, she possesses excellent musical knowledge and taste, and is responsible for composing music within the band, making her a highly talented girl!
This Ryo Yamada 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 23.5 cm tall. Like the previous Bocchi figure, it adopts the design from Kessoku Band's first performance at STARRY in episode 8 of the anime. The sculpting faithfully recreates the wrinkles of her long skirt and the Kessoku Band logo on her top. Her cool gaze can be glimpsed through the flowing blue short hair bangs, and the intricate details of the bass she holds are also reproduced!
The base features STARRY's iconic checkered floor and a red stand. The tilted angle adds a dynamic feel to the overall presentation. The stand is adorned with stage lights, the STARRY signboard, and a grass-shaped neon light representing Ryo, enhancing the visual richness! The angled distortion of the stand is expected to connect and combine with the upcoming Nijika and Kita figures, which is highly anticipated!
