PLEX Corporation of Japan, in collaboration with X-PLUS Corporation, has announced the latest product from their popular 'DEFOREAL' soft vinyl figure series, which blends intricate realistic details with adorable chibi proportions. The new item, "SkullGreymon: G-Invasion Mode," originating from the 'Monster Battle Machine COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition,' is scheduled for release in October 2025.
The 'Monster Battle Machine COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition,' slated for release in August 2025, is a collaborative product launched in commemoration of Godzilla's 70th anniversary, partnering with Digimon. The game software will feature dozens of classic Toho monsters from the Godzilla series. Players raising Koromon will have the opportunity to evolve them into original collaborative Digimon such as "MetalGreymon: G-Invasion Mode," "SkullGreymon: G-Invasion Mode," and more.
The "DEFOREAL SkullGreymon: G-Invasion Mode" is crafted in a low-proportioned chibi style, standing at 13 cm tall, faithfully recreating SkullGreymon with its body invaded by Godzilla cells. Its original skeletal body now features a head shape reminiscent of Godzilla, with massive Godzilla dorsal fins growing on its back. Even its signature weapon, the "Zero-Type Cruise Missile" within its spinal cord, has developed skin and dorsal fins in the style of Millennium Godzilla.
Each skeletal part boasts excellent sharpness and realistic grayish-white paintwork, with intricate textures depicting uneven bone surfaces and partially hollow internal structures, showcasing SkullGreymon's highly organic and ferocious appearance. Its eyes are painted with translucent jewel-green parts, conveying a pupil-less gaze that emits an eerie glow.
