Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand S.H.Figuarts is releasing a new product based on the anime "Kaiju No. 8" – the "Isao Shinomiya" action figure. It will retail for 13,200 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2025!
Defense Force Commander Isao Shinomiya is Kikoru's father. After his wife was killed by a kaiju, he developed an intense hatred for them. He was once hailed as the strongest man in Defense Force history and is the only person in the Defense Force capable of wielding Kaiju No. 2 weapon. He confronted Kaiju No. 9 head-on in the Battle of Shinagawa.
This S.H.Figuarts Isao Shinomiya stands approximately 17 cm tall, a size second only to the two kaiju figures in the series. It faithfully recreates his unique Izumo Tech battle suit, with sculpted details showing the wrinkles on the suit's loose-fitting pants and his incredibly toned upper body musculature. His lightning-bolt-shaped mustache and resolute gaze are also accurately reproduced! The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the specialized weapon in his hand, modified from Kaiju No. 2. The intricate details of the armor are exquisitely recreated, and it can be combined with the included interchangeable hands, expression parts, and flexible articulation to recreate various cool battle poses!
