The popular assembly model shokugan 'SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT' series, released by Bandai Candy, the shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, has announced its latest product, "Leon Kaiser," from the Brave Series anime "The Brave of Gold Goldran," slated for release in November 2025.
In the series, the 8th resurrected Brave, "Gold General Leon," possesses the noble character of an ancient warrior and a keen insight into the good and evil in people's hearts. In battle, he can transform from robot mode into fighter jet mode, and can further combine and transform with his partner, "Gold Beast Kaiser," into the even larger "Gold General Leon Kaiser."
The "SMP Leon Kaiser" kit utilizes multi-colored molded parts in orange, gold, red, white, and more to create the two machines: "Gold General Leon" and "Gold Beast Kaiser." Once Leon's main body is complete, it stands approximately 7 cm tall, boasting a body proportion and articulated joint design similar to its appearance in the show. It can wield its "Naginata" weapon or transform to recreate its fighter jet mode.
"Gold Beast Kaiser," while retaining its transformation mechanism, features more organic armor curves and articulated joints to express a natural and dynamic posture.
After full body transformation, inserting Leon in fighter jet mode into the chest completes "Gold General Leon Kaiser." However, if combined directly, the head proportion is quite large; replacing it with the appearance-focused "head" and "fist" parts will result in a body proportion closer to its depiction in the show.
This product can also link and combine with the separately sold "SMP Goldran" and "SMP Sorakage" to form the strongest form, "Ultimate Goldran," recreating its golden wings, lion head chest, massive foot design, and powerful weapon, the "Ultimate Bow." It can be posed with an auxiliary stand to recreate the stance for its special move, "Golden Arrow: Ultimate Shot." Additionally, the back can be replaced with appearance-focused parts to show Sorakage's legs in their fully stowed state as seen in the anime.
