BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, under its "S.H.MonsterArts" articulated figure brand, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, is launching a new series, "-Movie Graphic Plus-". The first two products are being released, and we're excited to show you the "Godzilla 4th Form Awakening Ver." articulated figure, based on the film "Shin Godzilla". It has a reference price of 17,600 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2026!
Directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, "Shin Godzilla" is the 31st film in the Godzilla series, featuring its own independent worldview. Similar to the original 1954 Godzilla, it depicts the first appearance and landing of Godzilla, a "giant unidentified lifeform," in Japan. The film achieved an impressive global box office of 78 million USD, making it the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of 2016!
This "Godzilla 4th Form Awakening Ver." stands approximately 18 cm tall. Based on the 2017 release, its coloring has been re-adjusted according to the film's depiction. The sculpting showcases Shin Godzilla's rough skin texture and astonishing musculature. The overall appearance features deep red and purple hues, making it more vivid than previous versions with a stronger visual contrast. Furthermore, some parts are crafted with clear materials to recreate the powerful light and shadow effects seen during his nighttime awakening! In addition to the monster figure itself, the new "-Movie Graphic Plus-" series will also include an exclusive "Shin Godzilla" collectible poster, perfect for display alongside the figure!
