Under Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's Gashapon division, the "HG" character model series, known for its exquisite sculpting and compact size, has announced its popular third installment for the Dragon Ball theme, following the "GOKU EDITION" and "SAIYAN EDITION": "HG Dragon Ball 03 DAIMA EDITION" Gashapon! There are four types in total, priced at 500 JPY per capsule, and are scheduled to be released in late July 2025!
The "HG Dragon Ball" series, which has been well-received since its launch in 2003, will inherit the features and charm of previous HG series while incorporating the latest technology to achieve the highest quality in the series' history, restarting anew! Precise sculpting and delicate coloring condense the characters' appeal into exquisite collectibles approximately 10 cm tall.
The third installment, "HG Dragon Ball 03 DAIMA EDITION," is themed around "Dragon Ball DAIMA" and features popular characters appearing in the series: Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, Piccolo, and Giant Goma! Super Saiyan 4 Goku's peach-colored translucent hair and the detailed, muscular arms with ape fur are absolutely fantastic! Additionally, Vegeta, with his increased hair volume and dazzling pearlescent coloring, and the imposing Piccolo are also exquisitely sculpted. The giant Goma King is definitely a must-have for this release!
