Infinite Dimension: 10th Anniversary Masterpiece! Nemesis - The Ultimate Challenge in 1:100 Scale

This time, I'm going to share the 10th-anniversary masterpiece, Nemesis, from Infinite Dimension. This is an assembly model kit, not a pre-built alloy figure. This Nemesis has its own worldview and mobile suit settings. Those interested can borrow the thick setting book from fellow owners to read!

The entire Nemesis kit features pre-painted parts, covering 95% of hidden gate marks. Because of these pre-painted parts, even a straight build without painting can achieve a very high level of completion. The biggest concern with straight builds without painting is overly noticeable swirl marks on the parts, but such marks are extremely rare on this Nemesis.

In addition to a large number of pre-painted parts, this Nemesis also includes pre-assembled POM joint parts. Since the joint parts are made of POM material, they are much more robust during handling. When displayed standing for extended periods, there won't be issues of "soft legs" or "impotence" due to excessive weight in certain areas. Because POM material is used, there might be a creaking sound when handling and rotating the joints; the official statement confirms this is normal. The instruction manual also advises against applying any lubricants or petroleum jelly. If the joints are too tight, applying a 2B pencil lead to the part's pins can improve the situation.

Overall, I have nothing to complain about with the assembly, except for one thing... the water decals! Those water decals are incredibly soft! This was the first time I struggled so much with applying water decals. Their softness exceeded my imagination for water decals; perhaps I've been spoiled by Bandai's decals. However, I must say that even without using decal softener or adhesive, the conformity of the decals once applied is truly exceptional. I ruined many of them and eventually decided not to apply all of them, only sticking to some visible markings and patterns...

Regarding the color scheme, the official design documents state that this Nemesis incorporates a large amount of white and gold into its main body. White symbolizes the purity and radiance of an angel, while black and red represent the manifestation of a demon and power. This color combination showcases the Nemesis's dual characteristics of "half demon, half angel".

As mentioned at the beginning, this Nemesis possesses its own worldview. The world background is named "Yixing" (Glittering Star). Yixing is a resource planet that holds the crucial energy source of this worldview, the "Yixing Core" (Glittering Star Core). For more on the Nemesis worldview, please refer to the "Infinite Dimension 10th Anniversary Nemesis Special" booklet included with the model.

This Nemesis is the core mobile suit in the "Stardust Project" mechanical setting of that worldview, categorized as Advanced Strategic Revenge Titan - A.S.R.T.

A.DVANCED - Advanced

Signifying that the weapon system's technological level is at the forefront, still developed based on the most advanced tactical concepts and technological achievements.

S.TRATEGIC - Strategic

Emphasizing that in warfare, its operations are not limited to the tactical level, but rather possess strategic value capable of influencing the overall direction of the war.

R.EVENGE - Revenge

Fully demonstrating that the primary objective of this weapon is to deliver lethal strikes, representing its destructive combat intent, especially against the enemies of the consortium.

T.ITAN - Titan

Symbolizing a colossal physique and formidable combat capabilities, endowing this weapon with unparalleled deterrent power and destructive force.

The Nemesis possesses four core functions:

1. Perfect Balance of Mobility and Destructive Power - Rapidly infiltrates enemy lines for precise strikes and withdraws from the battlefield in the shortest possible time.

2. State-of-the-Art Control System - Quantum synchronization technology allows the pilot and machine to perfectly integrate for precise and rapid mechanical operations.

3. Long-Range Combat Capability - The Stellar Energy technology enables the machine to sustain high-intensity combat output for extended periods.

4. Extreme Environment Adaptability - The machine's composite nano-armor can withstand the adverse effects of radiation, high temperatures, vacuum, and space.

The worldview and the settings for this machine are truly vast and cannot be fully elaborated at once. If fellow enthusiasts wish to learn more about the detailed worldview, machine settings, the history of model development, and the evolution from initial design drafts to the current final version, it is recommended to ask a friend who has acquired this Nemesis model to borrow their design compendium for reference. Below is an introduction to the assembly process of this Nemesis.

▼【Infinite Dimension】10th Anniversary Masterpiece! Nemesis: The Ultimate Challenge in 1:100 Scale

▼Internal Structure + Mechanical Skeleton

▼The arm's range of motion is very high without armor installed, as there are no interference issues.

▼I repainted all the hand parts using GAIA 132 spray paint.

▼The blue stickers are included 3D metallic stickers; all other colored parts are pre-painted.

▼This Nemesis comes with a large quantity of detailed frame-style photo-etched parts. These frame-style photo-etched parts do not require glue; they can be directly peeled off and applied. There's no need to worry about them falling off, as they are very secure and adhesive.

▼Many recessed areas feature photo-etched parts to showcase intricate details. If you're concerned about not seeing the photo-etched parts after installing the armor, I can assure you there's no need to worry. Even with the armor fully installed, the photo-etched parts will still reveal their details during movement. The red stickers on the legs are all original 3D metallic stickers provided by the manufacturer.

▼The textures and details of each included hand set are very clear, and the gate marks on the hand parts are not exposed, enhancing the overall finish.

▼The leg assembly is quite complex; it is recommended to thoroughly read the instructions. Rest assured, you won't need excessive force.

▼Chest photo-etched parts; photo-etched parts are applied generously to the internal structure and recessed joint areas.

▼Cat face + 'Tianxia' + prominent chin. In the design drafts, the antenna and face shape underwent countless revisions, ultimately resulting in their current appearance. However, after seeing the design drafts, I actually prefer the initial antenna design XD

▼The eyes use 3D metallic stickers, available in multiple colors: red, green, and gold. Since this is the Nemesis, I chose red, which better corresponds to the machine's name.

▼Crossing its arms is also not an issue.

▼Aside from the waist, the internal structure is decent. Although the Nemesis is advertised as 1/100 scale, its overall height is still very impressive. Head height: 22cm. Total height: 27cm. Wingspan: 45cm.

▼Silver psycho-frame installed on the shoulders

▼Psycho-frame for the crotch, skirt armor, and lower body completed

▼The previously plain and empty waist is now significantly enriched after installing the psycho-frame and frame-style photo-etched parts

▼Thigh psycho-frame, green and red are metallic stickers

▼Upper body psycho-frame

▼Rear view

▼Leg thrusters; the thrusters on both legs are interlinked, so when one side is rotated up or down, the other side moves along with it

▼The shoulders are a bit disappointing with limited articulation

▼The connecting joints between the shoulders and body use pre-assembled POM parts

▼Both left and right shoulders are identical except for the color of the metallic stickers

▼Main body completed, shown with psycho-frame fully deployed

▼Relaxed hand type is used; a total of four hand types are included: relaxed, angry, fisted, and weapon-holding

▼Shoulder armor deployment; simply pull outwards to activate full linkage

▼Shoulder armor deployed state

▼Chest open state; upon opening, the internal frame-style photo-etched parts are visible

▼Even more apparent from a top-down view

▼Inside the pink transparent chest part, an additional pre-painted component is assembled, creating a reflective effect when illuminated

▼Waist details adorned with metallic stickers

▼Wrist deployment; the front and rear red armor pieces can be pulled outwards

▼Due to interfering parts, the arm's horizontal lift is not ideal

▼Pressing the palm down can activate the wrist's linkage effect

▼Thigh psycho-frame deployed

▼That pre-painted part is truly stunning!! Both blue and black feature a matte metallic texture, and the absence of swirl marks on the parts further elevates the overall finish. I ultimately gave up on many of the water decals because they were too difficult and painful for me to apply. The blue parts of the skirt armor can be pulled down to reveal the psycho-frame.

▼Close-up of the skirt armor; it's truly impressive that the water decals achieve such a good fit without the use of decal softener or adhesive.

▼Knee psycho-frame deployed

▼Thruster psycho-frame deployed

▼All parts are pre-painted

▼Leg side view

▼Rear view

▼The only parts of the rear skirt armor that can deploy are the two black pieces; internal details are visible when deployed

▼The spine's design concept adopts a bionic structure, which seems to be the trend for both finished products and model kits nowadays. That black part boasts a full metallic matte black texture; the quality of this pre-painting is truly exceptional!!

▼The legs can be posed in a cool wide stance; the metallic stickers on the left and right thrusters can be applied as desired, with one side green and the other red

▼The spine features a bionic structure design that articulates and expands when bent.

▼Complex foot structure, with inner and outer ankle armor that can expand to accommodate poses and prevent interference with the foot.

▼Close-up of the thigh sensor frame.

▼Even kneeling poses are perfectly achievable once the main body is complete.

▼Unfortunately, the head's articulation is somewhat limited, only allowing up-and-down movement. Side-to-side movement has interference and angle restrictions.

▼Close-up.

▼When the thigh bends, the outer armor on the leg slides along with it, revealing the internal frame.

▼Specially designed hip joint; I used pre-assembled POM parts for installation.

▼When the leg bends, the knee also articulates in conjunction, revealing the internal frame.

▼The shoulders can be pulled out and tilted forward.

▼There is slight interference when tilted forward, but it does not affect its articulation.

▼Cool!

▼The pre-painted parts are beautiful, with a high degree of completion, and the handling feel is quite good. Basically, there's nothing for me to complain about.

▼Multiple points of articulation in the arms.

▼Combined with the forearm's rotation, it can easily achieve hands-on-hips poses.

▼I am very satisfied with the hand molds after painting them gold.

▼The red eyes are truly striking!

▼It's a backpack, a thruster, a cockpit, and a weapon mount all in one. The unit's designated name is "High-Performance Propulsion Mechanism."

▼Close-up of the thruster, utilizing layered parts to create an exposed internal structure effect.

▼The thruster's side armor can expand; the image below shows the expanded configuration.

▼Retracted.

▼For long-term display, if you're concerned about balance, you can use the included support stand.

▼Thanks to the pre-assembled POM parts, it can stand easily without a support stand, eliminating any worries about balance.

▼To increase the weight of the support stand's base, I directly filled the hollow space at the bottom of the base with steel balls to add weight and then sealed it.

▼The support stand actually props up the thruster.

▼The included display base allows for individual display of weapons and the backpack, creating a maintenance-ready pose.

▼Etched nameplate.

▼Shield claw. The two golden pincers on the shield claw are very sharp, so please be extremely careful when handling it.

▼Each weapon has its own designated display position on the base.

▼The High-Performance Propulsion Mechanism can also be mounted individually on the base. This thruster is essentially a weapon rack, capable of mounting all of Nemesis's weapons.

▼Nemesis's cockpit is uniquely designed on the backpack.

▼Foot pedals with adjustable leg spread angles.

▼Ready for sortie configuration.

▼Perfectly assembled foot pedals.

▼Foot angle can be adjusted independently

▼Vengeance Blade transforms into gun mode

▼All of Nemesis's weapons are assembled and transformed using a single Vengeance Blade as the base. There are a total of eight Vengeance Blades, requiring eight assemblies.

▼Two long blades

▼Two greatswords

▼Two wing blades, each housing a spear

▼The Vengeance Blade from the wing blade can be individually removed and transformed into spear mode

This concludes this introduction, and I hope everyone enjoyed it. For someone like me, assembling a stacked internal frame for the first time, Infinite Dimension's Nemesis was quite novel. The overall molding is impeccable; whether it's the intricate detailing of individual parts, the lines, or even the small structural details, everything is superbly crafted with clear textures. The abundance of hidden gate marks, combined with pre-painted parts, significantly elevates Nemesis's overall completion level once assembled. Among the mainland mecha models I've assembled so far, Infinite Dimension's Nemesis truly lives up to its name as a 10th-anniversary commemorative piece. The only minor drawback is that I didn't apply all the water decals, mainly because they were quite challenging. This is also the first time I've encountered such difficulty applying water decals to a model.

The thruster on the back is a veritable weapon rack. All of Nemesis's weapons can be mounted on this weapon rack and drawn when needed. Regarding the center of gravity issue when fully loaded, for long-term display, it is recommended to use a display stand or a direct support stand.
