Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse's large-scale light-up statue series themed on Tokusatsu works, 『Ultimate Article』, has announced the latest product from the Tokusatsu series Ultraman Seven, 「Ultraman Seven (Battle Image Color Ed.)」, scheduled for release in December 2025.
The 「Ultimate Article Ultraman Seven (Battle Image Color Ed.)」 is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. The overall sculpt is supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department. It features an impressive 40 cm height, faithfully recreating the No. 1 suit used in the early stages of the show. Compared to the clean and vibrant paintwork of the standard edition, this version references Ultraman Seven's appearance during battles in the series, changing the full-body red and silver paint to deeper tones and adding weathering effects to depict dust and grime.
By swapping out arm and head parts, three poses can be recreated: a clenched-fist battle stance, holding the Eye Slugger, and firing the Wide Shot. Furthermore, the statue body and display base conceal lighting devices and sound playback mechanisms. Two modes can be switched to illuminate the forehead beam lamp and eyes, and play the theme song, in-show BGM, and Ultraman Seven's voice effects.
