The 【TOMICA 55th Anniversary Expo】 not only introduces two special 55th-anniversary commemorative car models but also features display pieces flown in directly from Japan, showcasing cars released since the 1970s. Add to that dedicated displays for various series like TOMICA PREMIUM, which targets adult collectors; Dream TOMICA, a collaboration with major IPs; Taiwan Special Edition cars; and event-exclusive models... the sheer spectacle is absolutely worthy of the 'Expo' title!
The venue also offers a variety of free experiences and challenge activities. These challenges not only come with a participation prize car, but upon successful completion, you can upgrade it to a not-for-sale Gold Prize car! Plus, there's the "Car Painting Racing Contest" where you can design your own car, and the "Assembly Factory" where you pick the parts and a specialist assembles it for you on the spot. ▼ Upon entering the venue, you're immediately greeted by giant versions of the usually palm-sized die-cast car boxes. So adorable!
▼ This wall is sure to excite any TOMICA fan, featuring a massive display of models manufactured since the 1970s!

▼ As expected from TOMICA PREMIUM, which targets adult collectors with a focus on a high-end collectible feel, the display uses large black walls and black bases, perfectly conveying an air of premium exclusivity.

Next, we head to the interactive area on the second floor. In addition to several free-to-play games, there are also challenge activities that can be played using points!
▼ Our reporter absolutely loves this Mini Car Balance Track. You have to reach the end without falling off the track, which is not easy at all~
▼ The Lucky Car Roulette, a test of hand-eye coordination where you have to guess which slot the car will land in.
▼ Completing the game challenges earns you a "standard car" as a participation prize. However, if you succeed in the challenge, you can upgrade your prize to a not-for-sale "Gold Prize car" (in the blue and white box)! Each challenge has a different Gold Prize car~ This box design is awesome.
