Following the first installment and second installment of the highly popular "Waiting Impatiently" (tentative translation, Machibouke) toy series, released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division and themed around the *Kingdom* anime, the latest third installment has now been released on GASHAPON ONLINE! Scheduled to ship in late October 2025, with a suggested retail price of 400 JPY per capsule, there are a total of four designs to collect.
The historical manga *Kingdom*, created by Japanese manga artist Yasuhisa Hara, is set in the late Warring States period of China, a time of frequent warfare before the entire land was unified. The path to Qin's unification of the world was paved by the collaboration of two individuals: one is "Shin," a commoner who aspires to become the greatest general under heaven, and the other is "Ei Sei," a king with no real power but who desires to unify the Central Plains through military might. The two met through Shin's friend "Hyou," and from a small hut in the Qin village of Heibi, they embarked on a grand journey to create an unprecedented nation!
The "Kingdom Characters Waiting Impatiently" Gashapon series reinterprets the characters in a cute SD (Super Deformed) style, sculpting their distinctive features within a height of 4 to 5 centimeters, and creating three-dimensional models themed around waiting for the opportune moment to go into battle. The latest third installment features three of the Six Great Generals from King Ei Sei's era, including "Kanki," the former bandit leader who always uses ingenious strategies to take the enemy commander's head; "Ousen," who is deeply strategic and harbors profound ambition; "Yotanwa," the Death King who commands the mountain tribes; and "Bajio," Yotanwa's most important general. Compared to the three armored characters, Bajio, who only wears a mask, is shirtless, and barefoot with exposed toes, becomes cuter the more you look at him (lol).
● Kanki
● Ousen
While the other characters have an air of having waited for a long time, almost daydreaming, Ousen always maintains the same stoic expression.
● Yotanwa
● Bajio
