Wakana Yamazaki (WAKANA YAMAZAKI) excels at creating unique worldviews using digital creative tools, characterized by vibrant colors and humorous character designs. She is active in advertising, apparel, manga, animation, toys, and other fields, with works spanning both Japan and overseas. Fans of designer toys are surely familiar with her previous soft vinyl collaboration with Chuku Kobo, "THE DRAGON & WIZARD"!
This time, "Space People & Space Jet" is produced with Chuku Kobo's excellent craftsmanship, bringing Wakana Yamazaki's humorous aliens and futuristic vehicles to life in three dimensions! The Space People figure stands approximately 20 cm tall, featuring a simple yet delightful astronaut suit design rendered in vivid colors. The transparent, heart-shaped oxygen mask is a particularly striking detail! The articulation appears to include single-axis joints at the shoulders and elbows for free rotation, and the legs boast an astonishing backward-bending joint design, creating exceptional playability despite the limitations of soft vinyl material!
The Space Jet vehicle, on the other hand, is approximately 12.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating its cartoonish face and body. The Space People figure can be placed in the cockpit for combined play, and it will be available in three color variations, truly showcasing the powerful charm of Ms. Yamazaki's creations!
