Japan's SEGA company's figure brand 'S-FIRE' has announced the latest products from "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition": "FUWA PETIT Asuka Plugsuit Ver." and "FUWA PETIT Rei Ayanami Plugsuit Ver.", scheduled for release in March 2026.
The 'FUWA PETIT' series is a product line launched by Japan's SEGA in collaboration with illustrator Mihachi. It re-imagines characters from popular works such as Hatsune Miku, "Touhou Project," and "Evangelion" into adorable two-head-tall chibi designs, and has released plush dolls, character figures, and various merchandise, enjoying considerable popularity.
This time, character figures of the two heroines from "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition," Asuka and Rei Ayanami, are once again being released, sculpted in their plugsuit designs worn when piloting the EVA. The two plugsuits faithfully reproduce the color blocks and numbers on various parts through paintwork. Both figures feature articulated arms that can be raised forward, and come with two interchangeable expressions, allowing for playful and adorable poses.
