The "POKEPLA" Pokémon plastic model series, brought to you by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., is set to officially release its latest quick-assembly product, "Pokémon PLAMO Collection Quick!! 23 Jirachi," on July 12, 2025. Ahead of its launch, official channels have unveiled the detailed part separation design, sample images, and captivating box art.
This latest three-dimensional rendition features the mythical Pokémon "Jirachi," who made its debut in the third generation of the games. Its overall design beautifully integrates the customs of people wishing upon comets and shooting stars, as well as the traditional wishes made during Japan's Tanabata festival. Legend has it that if Jirachi hears a clear song, it will awaken from its 1000-year slumber for a period of seven days, possessing the incredible power to grant any wish.
The "Pokémon PLAMO Collection Quick!! 23 Jirachi" is meticulously crafted using precise color separation and part division techniques, featuring four distinct molded colors: yellow, white, green, and black. All 16 parts can be effortlessly detached without the need for nippers, and with the included stickers, the model can be easily assembled to faithfully recreate its adorable facial expressions, star-shaped head, the three tanzaku strips gracefully hanging from its head, and the closed "True Eye" on its abdomen.
