Experience the excitement of the "2025 World Expo" right in the palm of your hand! The "EXPO2025 Ico-chan the Platypus Capsule Figure JWN/050 (K)", created through a three-way collaboration between the Osaka-Kansai Expo, JR West, and veteran Japanese toy company Kaiyodo, officially launched yesterday (the 10th) at the Japan Expo venue! The suggested retail price is 880 JPY per turn, with a total of four designs to collect.
This new capsule toy series, featuring both Myaku-Myaku (ミャクミャク) and Ico-chan the Platypus (カモノハシのイコちゃん), as well as the previously released ">Myaku-Myaku capsule figures from Kaiyodo, were all sculpted by prototype artist Honami Mizuta. They are also approximately 6 cm tall, allowing them to be displayed alongside these adorable ">Myaku-Myaku figures. Currently, two different poses of Myaku-Myaku, a round Ico-chan the Platypus, and a hidden version, only revealed as a silhouette, which appears to be a combined form of the two, are visible! It's highly anticipated.
Purchase locations include the JR West Official Store (West Gate Store JR West Group) inside the Japan Expo venue, located at the West Gate. Toy enthusiasts planning to visit the Expo soon can go and grab some!
