Produced by Japan's PLEX company and released by X-PLUS company, the "Large Monster Series" (大怪獣シリーズ), themed after Japanese tokusatsu works, has launched a new Ultraman-themed product — the "ULTRA NEW GENERATION Glitter Tiga Special Edition" soft vinyl figure. With a reference price of 23,650 JPY, it is now available for limited pre-order exclusively at Japan's Tsuburaya Store Online, scheduled for release in January 2026.
Glitter Tiga (グリッターティガ), who appeared in the TV series finale, is Tiga's miracle form. After Tiga was defeated by the dark power of the ultimate evil god "Gatanothor" and turned into a stone statue, he was resurrected by combining with the light from the hearts of children worldwide who believed in Tiga, his entire body radiating a golden glow symbolizing hope, possessing immeasurable attack and defense power!
This "ULTRA NEW GENERATION Glitter Tiga Special Edition" stands approximately 25 cm tall and is produced using the same mold as the "Ultraman Tiga Ver.2" released in 2024, sculpting the suit details based on Tiga's Multi Type form and exquisitely showcasing Tiga's head sculpt. The entire body uses pearlescent paint to recreate the visual effect of golden light emanating from the red, blue, and silver colored suit. The eyes and the Color Timer on the chest feature LED light-up functions, which can be lit up by connecting a USB-C cable. It also includes a dedicated background paper board for display, allowing for the recreation of scenes from the show!
