Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division will release a new product featuring popular Sanrio characters—the "Sanrio Characters ~Transformed Oyster~ Squishy Squishy Squad" capsule toys. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per turn, with an anticipated release in the third week of July 2025!
The "Sanrio Characters ~Transformed Oyster~ Marker Charms" released late last year, with their perplexing yet irresistibly charming fusion of oyster themes and Sanrio character designs, immediately sparked buzz among fans. Now, the oyster-themed Sanrio characters are making an appearance in the popular "Squishy Squishy Squad" series! This collection features four designs: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and Pochacco. Retaining the designs from the marker charms, these figures are crafted from a special material, giving the characters a delightful squishy and bouncy texture! While they may not have the translucent effect of the previous marker charms, toy enthusiasts can now freely squeeze these "Oyster-Sanrio Stars" (?) to relieve stress!
