American toy brand Sideshow Collectibles' 1/4 scale Premium Format series, in addition to the "Superman" statue, is also simultaneously launching another new product based on the recently released hit movie "Superman" – the "Krypto" 1/4 scale collectible statue. The suggested retail price is US$750, with an estimated shipping date between June and September 2026!
Krypto, who appeared in the new 2025 "Superman" movie, was created using a 3D scan of director James Gunn's beloved dog Ozuthe, then rendered with CG animation. Its undisciplined and completely uncontrolled demeanor can certainly be described as one of the most scene-stealing supporting characters!
This Krypto 1/4 scale statue stands approximately 23 cm tall and is crafted from polystone resin. It captures Krypto's iconic look from the movie, with one ear perked up. The intricate fur texture details are sculpted, and its expression and dynamic pose are meticulously recreated. The red cape, attached to its collar, billows in the air. The base also features the crystal pillar design of the Fortress of Solitude from the movie. Displaying it alongside Superman will be absolutely adorable!
