Today (27th), BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, unveiled a teaser image for a new S.H.Figuarts release on its official Instagram account. The Jujutsu Kaisen theme is finally making its return!
Jujutsu Kaisen, a manga series by Gege Akutami serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 to 2024, was adapted into a TV anime by MAPPA in October 2020. Riding the anime boom sparked by Demon Slayer during the pandemic, it garnered immense popularity upon its broadcast! Since 2021, the S.H.Figuarts series has successively released characters such as Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, and Megumi Fushiguro. Following the release of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the premiere of the anime's second season, characters like Yuta Okkotsu and Suguru Geto were also introduced.
However, since the release of Aoi Todo at the end of 2023, there has been no news of new characters, apart from an updated version of Yuji. International fans have been eagerly requesting the appearance of Toji Fushiguro in the series since the second season of the anime aired, but to no avail. Now, the official account has finally released another teaser, announcing that new products for the series will be revealed during a YouTube livestream on the 17th, reigniting hope among fans! Besides Toji Fushiguro, many fans are speculating about characters like Choso and Toge Inumaki. Personally, the editor hopes to see Cursed Spirits like Hanami and Dagon make an appearance, and eagerly awaits the official announcement!
