LEGO 21359 Ideas Series "Italian Riviera" Information Revealed

The next new release in the LEGO Ideas series from Danish toy company LEGO has been revealed: the highly anticipated "Italian Riviera" (tentative translation), numbered 21359, which boasts a rich Italian flair! It is expected to be released in August 2025, with a possible retail price of US$279.99.

The original design for this set comes from LEGO fan Galaxy333, who submitted "The Italian Riviera" to the LEGO IDEAS platform, where it successfully passed official review after garnering ten thousand votes. He drew inspiration from the architectural styles of Cinque Terre, a world-renowned tourist destination in Italy, using approximately 2900 pieces to construct three colorful two-story buildings, a coastline, and narrow yet bustling streets. The depiction of the cobblestone paths is also meticulously crafted. The design featuring numerous flowers adorning the exterior walls truly exudes Italian charm.

The commercialized "21359 Italian Riviera" uses 300 more pieces than the original design, bringing the total piece count to 3251. The overall scene presentation is not far from the original concept, but the proportion of the coastline has been increased, and the structure and colors of the buildings have been modified. The roof sections are constructed using a large number of 1x1 curved pieces. Additionally, the set includes 10 minifigures, a light blue motorcycle, and a small boat. The visual effect upon completion is quite stunning, representing a relatively rare architectural style among LEGO products. We eagerly await the full announcement.
