Taiwanese-American director Jon M. Chu and pop superstar Ariana Grande, who collaborated on "Wicked: Part One," saw the film become a box office hit and garner widespread critical acclaim after its release last year, marking a new peak for both their careers. The two, enjoying their successful partnership, are not only continuing to promote "Wicked: For Good" but have already begun production on their third joint film project.
Warner Bros. Pictures recently announced via its official social media channels that Grande and comedic actor Josh Gad have joined the voice cast of Chu's upcoming musical animated film, "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" The studio also shared behind-the-scenes photos of them already in the recording studio. The film is slated for a North American release on March 17, 2028.

"Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" is an adaptation of Dr. Seuss's posthumously published 1990 children's classic. Jon M. Chu co-directs with Jill Culton, known for her work on "Open Season" and "Abominable." Rob Lieber, screenwriter for the live-action "Peter Rabbit," penned the script, while Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the acclaimed songwriting duo behind "La La Land," are crafting original songs for the film. Director J.J. Abrams serves as a producer.
