Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division is launching a new product based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!" – the "Haikyuu!! Plush Collection" capsule toy. The suggested retail price is 800 Japanese Yen per turn, with an anticipated release in late November 2025!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed work originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate, and adapted into a TV anime by Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The story follows the protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who, despite his short stature, possesses an extremely high passion for volleyball. After joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, once a powerhouse, he and his teammates challenge one strong school after another, aiming for the national championship.
Now, the popular characters from the series are joining the popular "Capsule Plush Collection" series! This "Haikyuu!! Capsule Plush Collection" features popular characters from Karasuno and Nekoma high schools, crafted into approximately 11 cm tall plush toys. The collection includes five types: Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima, Tetsuro Kuroo, and Kenma Kozume. With their adorable proportions, these plushies are sewn from fabric to faithfully recreate the characters in their respective high school uniforms.
