With less than a month until its premiere, the first-ever "Alien" series, "Alien: Earth," helmed by "Legion" (Marvel series) producer Noah Hawley, unveiled a new trailer tonight, revealing more fresh footage. The trailer's Alien sequences emphasize rhythm and atmospheric buildup, generating significant anticipation.
"Alien: Earth" is set to premiere on August 12th in the US, airing on FX and streaming on Hulu. The first season will consist of eight episodes, with new episodes released every Tuesday.

"Alien: Earth" is set in 2120, two years before the events of the first "Alien" film, depicting a world ruled by five powerful corporate conglomerates: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. In this era, cyborgs (humans with biological cells and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) coexist with humans. However, the game changes when Prodigy's founder and CEO initiates a groundbreaking technological leap, creating a new type of hybrid android (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness).
The first prototype hybrid android, named "Wendy," symbolizes a new dawn in the race for immortality. After a Weyland-Yutani spaceship crashes into Prodigy's urban base, Wendy and her fellow hybrid androids encounter the Aliens carried aboard the vessel.
