Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero's "DLX" series, known for producing high-quality mecha articulated figures, will release a new product to commemorate the brand's 25th anniversary: the "Nemesis Prime" articulated figure, based on the movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The suggested retail price is yet to be announced, it will be a global limited edition of 2,000 units, and is expected to be released in Q3 2025!
In the G1 animation, Nemesis Prime was a clone of Optimus Prime created by the terrorist organization M.E.C.H., led by Doctor Arkeville, using a sub-space pulse duplicator. The Doctor connected the clone to an ancient, evil, and greedy life form, creating a powerful evil leader.
This Nemesis Prime articulated figure stands approximately 28.5 cm tall and is a recolor based on the "DLX Rise of the Beasts Optimus Prime" released in 2023. Its sculpt faithfully reproduces the G1 animation-inspired design, featuring a zinc alloy metal frame and approximately 53 points of articulation, allowing for stable posing in various dynamic stances! The Nemesis version appears to reference the G1 design, departing from Optimus Prime's classic red and blue color scheme. It features a black base, with the chest windows now made of red translucent material, revealing the intricate internal mechanical structure. The Decepticon's purple insignia is printed on the shoulders, and coupled with the red eyes, it exudes an evil, villainous aura!
The entire figure is equipped with rubber tires and various metal parts. The pull-down face mask, exhaust pipes, wheel covers, and fuel tanks feature a new chrome plating, presenting a high-quality silver reflective finish! Accessories include two arm cannons, two axes, two blades, and multiple sets of interchangeable hands, all recolored in dark tones to match the theme, showcasing the despairing transformation of a great leader into a villain!
